Convolvulus Sepium. A common wild plant climbing about hedges, and bears large white flowers, the form of the Garden Convolvulus. It is well known.

The root of the Bind Weed is used as a purge, boiled in ale. It answers well, though on account of the nausea which it tends to produce, it is not fit for the delicate. For people of a strong constitution, there is not a better purge.
